Thank you for your interest in Executive Networking. Below are details of how to register for this programme and details of what this programme involves.
- We will focus on why dealing with agencies and online job boards are becoming an increasingly frustrating, and fruitless job search strategy
- We will argue that this is largely a blue chip recession and that a lot of opportunities still exist. Data from ONS reveal that job creation is stronger than people have dared to predict
- The key is accurate targeting of the right sectors of the economy and an approach that distinguishes you from the competition
- We will highlight more profitable routes to interview and demonstrate a step by step approach to reaching the “hidden job market” through speculative approaches and networking.
- We will argue that the hidden job market is not just some mysterious smoke and mirrors discussion topic but a reality of recruitment in SME markets
- We will demonstrate that there are no rules with the CV , but help you find useful feedback that could give the edge
- We will give you the opportunity to interview others and be interviewed and present a tried and tested method of predicting and preparing for interviews
- We will teach you a method to get past the gatekeepers, communicate to decision makers, deal with objections so that you can create a network of potential opportunities
- Most of all we will give you the opportunity to network with other like minded individuals
- We will argue that one of the biggest issues will be motivating yourself and provide a structured routine to ensure you encourage and are encouraged by others.
Structure of the programme
Week 1 – Job search strategies, Digital tools, linked in and speculative applications – 9:30 to 16:30
Week 2 - CV’s, covering letters and application forms 9:30 – 13:30
Week 3 – Interview techniques, peer to peer interviews 9:30 – 13:30
Week 4 – Maximising the benefits of www.linkedin.com and keys to networking 9:30 – 13:30
Week 5 to 13 – Networking and sub groups for a few hours in the afternoon.

What you need to do
Call Laura on 0845 270 8131 to be referred, we will then arrange a time as soon as possible to conduct a short telephone assessment to ensure the course is right for you. We will ask your Personal Advisor to send an SL2 (Starter Leaver Form) to Laura Black, 49-50 Refuge House, Brighton, BN1 1RH.
If we feel you will gain benefit from Executive Networking then we will book you onto the next available inductions. The induction lasts all day and the remaining sessions are half a day
