Project Description for Work Placement
An independent record distribution company based in Kentish Town, North West London is currently accepting applications for a work experience position.
Day to Day Tasks
The type of work might include :
- Pulling and packing orders for distributors and mail order.
- Preparing Retail, DJ and Press mail shots.
- Maintaining our product database.
- Preparing digital assets for distribution to digital music platforms
- General Warehouse work including re-filing and replenishing stock lines
- Assisting our sales team with order input
Skills Required
Good organisational skills
Ability to manage own workload
Team working skills
A passion for the industry would be an advantage
Aim of Placement
The successful work experience candidate will gain valuable entry level experience working for an independent record distribution company and record label.
